Privacy and cookie usage policy

Privacy protection

Sawex Foods Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw (hereinafter referred to as the Company), attaches special importance to respecting the privacy of users visiting websites administered by the Company (hereinafter referred to as the “Websites”). The data collected in log files is used only for the purposes of administering the Websites. All user data obtained through the Websites is intended solely for the use by the Company.

Data collection

I. All data from users of the Websites are collected in two ways:

1. information provided voluntarily by the user – we ask users using the registration and contact forms to provide their personal data;

2. information obtained when using the Websites – these may include:

a. information in server logs – our servers automatically record such data as the site request sent by the user, the date and time of the request and sending the response, device data (e.g. hardware model), browser type, browser language, operating system type,

b. IP address – each computer connected to the internet is assigned a unique number, i.e. IP address; on its basis, you can, among others, identify the country from which the user connects to the network,

c. text files (“cookies”) sent to the user’s computer when visiting the website.
II. The controller of the data contained in the Websites is the Company.

Cookie mechanism

I. The web browser may store cookies on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies contain information necessary for the proper operation of the Websites.

II. The content of cookies does not allow the identification of the user.

III. Personal data of Website users are not processed or stored using cookies.

IV. The cookie mechanism is not used to obtain any information about users.

V. The Company stores cookies on users’ computers with a view to:

1. proper adaptation of the Websites to the needs of users;

2. remembering user preferences and individual settings;

3. creating website viewing statistics.

VI. The user can configure the web browser to completely or partially disable the storage of cookies on the computer’s hard drive. The effect of the change may be the loss of the ability to use some functionalities of the Websites.

Use of data

I. Data collected within the Websites is used to provide specific services to our users and for administrative and statistical purposes, and in order to protect the Websites.

II. This data will not be sold or made available to other institutions or organizations or persons who are not employees or permanent associates of the Company. However, Google Inc. also has access to the data by using the functionality of Google Analytics for statistical purposes.

III. Based on the information obtained on the Websites, the Company may prepare aggregate statistical summaries, which may be disclosed to third parties. However, such summaries do not contain any data allowing the identification of individual users.

IV. The Company ensures that users exercise their rights arising from the provisions of article 32 of the Act of 29 August 1997 on the protection of personal data (Journal of Laws of 2002, No. 101, item 926, as amended), in particular the right to access their own data, the right to withdraw consent at any time to the processing of personal data concerning them, the right to request data update and the right to object to the processing of their data in the cases specified in the provisions of this Act.\

Security

I. The Company makes every effort to protect the Websites against unauthorized access by third parties. For this purpose, the following, among others, are used: firewall, server security devices, encryption devices and physical security measures.

II. The Websites contain links to other internet sites. We recommend that after visiting other sites, you read the privacy policies applicable there.

Changes, general provisions

In the event of a change to the Privacy Policy applicable to the Websites, the Company will post the appropriate modification on this subpage.

The provisions of the Act of 16 July 2004, Telecommunications Law (Journal of Laws No. 171, item 1800) shall apply to any matter not provided for in this Privacy and Cookies Policy.
